About Us

Welcome to Weddington United Methodist Church.  We are so glad that you've chosen to visit us online.

At Weddington UMC, our mission is to fulfill our call to be the physical presence of Jesus Christ by worshiping God with passion, intentionally growing in faith, proclaiming the gospel with grace, and humbly serving in love.

Our church is located just east of Charlotte, in Weddington, NC (Union County).  We offer four distinctive worship services, both modern and traditional, and a variety of educational and service opportunities for all ages.

Our Sunday morning worship services are:

• 8:15 am in the Sanctuary (traditional)
• 9:30 am in the Sanctuary (praise and worship)
• 10:10 am in the Youth Center (acoustic praise and worship)
• 11:00 am in the Sanctuary (traditional)

We offer a professionally staffed nursery during the 9:30 am, 10:10 am and 11:00 am services.
