Our Children's Ministry, Weddington Church Kids, exists for one purpose: to help children grow in wisdom and stature just like Jesus!

At Weddington UMC, all children are important. We are dedicated to partnering with you in the cultivation of spiritual growth of your children. Our mission in serving you is to provide the best possible care, comfort, guidance and instruction in the Word of God for your children and their leaders.

The Bible is our curriculum...printed materials and programs are our resources...and adult volunteers are our living examples, demonstrating the love of God and life-changing principles to your children.

Our goal is that all children will be loved, valued and nurtured in their faith! At Weddington UMC, we want only the best for every child!

Each week, we offer relevant Bible studies during Sunday School and Sonshine Safari, all geared to children's learning capacities and abilities.  We also have many other fun and educational events and programs for kids and their families. During the summer months, we offer exciting and interactive children's programs, like vacation Bible school, art camp and Friendship Factory.

In addition to traditional Sunday activities for kids, Weddington Christian Preschool and Weddington Christian Academy offer academic excellence in learning and spiritual formation on a weekday basis.
