Pleasant Grove Camp Meeting

The camp meetings of the early part of the 19th century were part of the “Second Great Awakening” – the great revival movement that swept across the Eastern seaboard of the United States during the early 1800’s. It marked a time of great religious enthusiasm when emotional conversions were widespread, when “our whole country seemed to be coming home to God.” -from Sing Glory Hallelujah

Pleasant Grove Camp Meeting in Mineral Springs, North Carolina, is one of the oldest camp meetings in country. The first camp meeting at Pleasant Grove was in held in 1829. We encourage you to join us in revival during this year’s camp meeting.
