Weddington Kids Consignment

Now known as “Weddington Kids Consignment” it is THE LARGEST fundraiser supporting Weddington United Methodist Church and its missions! Started in the fall of 2003 by the Susanna Wesley Circle of Weddington Church, the bi-annual Kids Consignment sale nets more than $70,000 annually!  Following each sale, profits are allocated to the church and local missions.

Within the church money is allocated to such places as scholarship funds for youth mission trips and people in need, children’s ministries, the preschool and Weddington Christian Academy, and to United Methodist Women outreach programs, to name a few. Locally, Union County charities such as Operation Reach-Out, Turning Point, Crisis Assistance, and Help Crisis Pregnancy Center are examples of places that benefit from the success of the Weddington Kids Consignment sale. Except for a small amount needed each year to cover the cost of hosting the kids consignment sale, all profit goes to missions.

Susanna Wesley Circle wants to invite everyone at Weddington United Methodist Church to participate in the Kids Consignment Sale! You do not have to be a member of the Susanna Wesley Circle or even a member of Weddington UMC to participate and everyone benefits. We know with your help even more money can be raised to support missions within and outside our church community. Please help us spread the love of Jesus Christ through this mission.

The Spring Kids Consignment sale will be held March 16 and 17. Please mark your calendar! Set-up will be Wednesday night, March 14, and helping hands are needed…especially men and youth who can assist with carrying and setting up tables, and hauling clothing racks into the Family Life Center. Volunteers will also be needed during the sale times. Positions include greeters, check-out assistants, floor assistants and security.
