Serving God in Children’s Ministries
We are thrilled that you are interested in serving in our Weddington Church Kids program. Are you ready to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our children? Let us assist you in finding a place where you can use your God-given gifts to invest in the lives of children. Our volunteers love what they do and you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of kids that will last for all eternity! As an added bonus, you will find many days that you will learn just as much from the kids as they do from you. God speaks amazingly through the little children. It could be that He is whispering to you right now!
The qualifications necessary to serve in our children’s program include having a heart for God and a desire to work with children. We will train and equip you with all the resources and materials that you will need. Be a part of our Weddington Church Kids family today and join our amazing team. It is required that every person volunteering in children and youth ministry programs, submit to a criminal background check, complete a volunteer application, and attend a Safe Sanctuary Seminar.
There are many ways to serve whether you are in the classroom, rocking babies in the nursery, telling the Bible story using a puppet, or refilling our fishy crackers each week, God wants to use you to make a difference.
