Upward Sports Camps (Grades 1-6)

Basketball camps for 1st - 6th grade boys and girls will be July 23-27; Early registration is $80 per camper. 1st-3rd graders have camp from 8:00 a.m. – noon;  4th – 6th graders have camp from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.  Register online.  You may also download the brochure to register at the church office. Upward is a volunteer-led ministry; please join the team who makes it happen under the leadership of the Holy Spirit! For more info, please contact Steven Jenkins.

Men's Softball

Slow-pitch Men’s spring softball league at Siler Presbyterian.  Games begin April 15, cost per player is $20 for the 7-week season.  For details, contact Jess Nicastro.

Youth Softball

Weddington participates in a girls slow-pitch softball league each spring at Mt. Harmony Baptist; the team is lead by Rick Bunch, Mike Patterson and Lee Grice.  Practices Tues evenings, games on Saturdays.  Contact sports.wumc@gmail.com for details.

Boot Camps 

Adult exercise class Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30am with devotions; we enjoy wonderful prayer time and sharing of faith in each meeting;  the cost is $10 per class or $55 per month; for registration and complete details, contact Georgia Perry.

Adult Dodgeball

Wednesday evenings in the Family Life Center; 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.; game and devotion.  For details, please contact Patrick Conroy.

Co-ed slow-pitch summer softball league at Siler Presbyterian.  Typically begins in May.  For details, contact Dean McFadden.

Youth basketball (Grades 7-12)

We participate with Matthews UMC during the winter each year, and typically field several teams in 7^th-12^th grades.  It includes coach and player covenants for behavior and practice time devotions.  Key leader:  Linda Hastings.
