Upward Sports (K-6^th)

Youth basketball (7^th – 12^th grade)

We participate with Matthews UMC during the winter each year, and typically field several teams in 7^th-12^th grades.  It includes coach and player covenants for behavior and practice time devotions.  Key leader:  Linda Hastings (ponyandus@carolina.rr.com)

Boot Camps  

         Adult exercise class Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30am with    
         devotions;  we enjoy wonderful prayer time and sharing of faith in
         each meeting;  the cost is $10 per class or $55 per month; for

Adult dodgeball

Youth Softball

Weddington participates in a girls slow-pitch softball league each spring at Mt Harmony Baptist; the team is lead by Rick Bunch, Mike Patterson and Lee Grice.  Practices Tues evenings, games on Saturdays; watch for announcements in February.

Adult softball

Co-ed slow-pitch summer softball league at Siler Presbyterian.  Typically begins in May.  For details, contact Dean McFadden (dmcfadden4@carolina.rr.com )
