United Methodist Men

As men in the Methodist tradition, the Weddington United Methodist Men seek to further the Kingdom of God through evangelism and service. We also feel the responsibility to educate ourselves to become men seeking God's will in our lives, to be the spiritual leaders of our families, and to follow the example of Jesus by assisting those less fortunate than ourselves.

We meet in the Multipurpose Room of the Family Life Center from 7:45 to 9:00 a.m. on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month for fellowship, Bible study and mission work sessions in conjunction with a wonderful breakfast. All men of the church are welcome!

UMM/UMW Scholarship
The Weddington United Methodist Scholarship Committee is currently accepting applications for its 2012 award. This $2,500 scholarship is co-sponsored by the UMM and UMW. Each year the committee selects a senior at our church who exhibits excellence in academics, leadership, and service. Financial need is also considered in regards to this award. Applications may be picked up in the Information Center, in the church office, or from the church website. Applications must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the church office by Friday, May 4, 2012, to be considered for selection. The envelope should be labeled Weddington United Methodist Scholarship. Click here for the Scholarship Application form.
