For the first 2+ years of life, we focus on making a child’s and parent’s initial experience at church a positive and safe one! We want children to learn of God’s love at the earliest opportunity. We begin with lots of hugs and sharing of simple Bible stories.
Our nurseries are available at the following services:
Check In/Out of Nursery
You are required to take a security tag when signing your child into our nursery. Please bring the matching tag when picking our child up. Remember to bring a diaper bag and bottle or sippy cup. If you are needed during the service, your number will appear in the sanctuary on the wall. Please return to your child’s room as soon as possible.
For more information about our nurseries, please pick up a current copy of our nursery brochure or call Emily Gray or Carolyn Nelson.

Our nurseries are a very special place for our littlest angels and we know how important it is for these children to make a connection with their caregivers. Therefore, we have paid caregivers in each of our nurseries as well as parent volunteers. Our parent volunteers are a vital part of this ministry and we depend upon your support. To become a parent volunteer, simply visit our “Volunteer” page to learn more. All it takes is serving just once every 5-6 weeks for one hour! It’s that simple.
For ages 2-5, our priority is for the young child to enjoy learning about God and His Bible! By the time a child is five years old, he will have learned the basic stories of creation, the Old Testament, and the life of Christ. Through a variety of Bible learning activities, children will learn the truths of God’s Word at their level of comprehension.

Our goal for the elementary age child, grades 1-5, is both to have fun and to be spiritually challenged. Children are encouraged to discover “what God says,” “what this means to me”, and “how can it be applied to my life.” We strive for a well-rounded ministry of instruction, evangelism, discipleship, Bible memory, outreach events, missions, and special events.

We ask that you keep your child home if he or she has exhibited any of the following symptoms in the past 24 hours:
Children should be excluded from childcare until their condition subsides, or there is documentation from the child’s doctor stating he/she is no longer contagious.
Remember, most of our church events are not mandatory, so please keep your child home if he/she is sick. We have babies as young as newborns in our care, as well as children with RSV and asthma. They can become very sick with just a little cold. Let’s keep them safe!
