Youth Ministry Associates Weddington United Methodist Church, a 4,000+ member congregation in the south Charlotte area, is seeking two fulltime Youth Ministry Associates – one position to focus on High School aged youth. The other will focus on Middle School. Responsibilities will include: planning, executing, and coordinating youth activities for age level assigned including, Sunday morning classes, Sunday night gatherings, Wednesday studies, retreats, mission trips, and special events; Recruiting, equipping, and empowering adult youth leaders; work closely with Youth Pastor and other WUMC staff and volunteers to develop and implement a vision and strategy for overall Youth Ministry.
- Bachelor’s degree with experience in Youth Ministry in a church setting
- A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred
- Experience developing Biblical content relevant to youth and adults
- A dynamic and engaging communicator to both youth and adults

Food Service Assistant Weddington United Methodist Church is seeking a part-time Food Service Assistant to assist with preparing, serving, and cleaning for various meals and events. This position may require some weekends. For more information please contact Food Services Director Kim Veith.
Nursery Workers The Ark Children’s Ministry is hiring fun loving, energetic people to work part time in our nursery on Sunday mornings, as well as weekday and evening opportunities. Duties will include working alongside another provider in: holding, reading to, playing with children 2 and under on Sunday mornings and under Kindergarten age other times. We need patient and gentle people to calm and soothe children who have a hard time being dropped off. We need creative people to play age appropriate games and lead activities that will engage and occupy the children in our care. We expect a safe and loving environment at all times with an emphasis on showing Jesus’ love to the little ones. We want their time in our care to be some of the best time of their week! Candidates must be 19 or older, have at least three references, pass a background check, and receive Safe Sanctuary training. CPR certification in preferred at time of hire and required for ongoing employment. We welcome mom’s to bring a little one with them, while still earning a little extra.
