Learning to Listen to God Seminar: Active Listening and Accurate Hearing with Clarence Ledford
Friday, October 18 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. & Saturday, October 19 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the Hemby House
Jesus said His sheep hear His voice (John 10:3, 27). In no way is He minimizing the importance of the written word of God. Nonetheless, Jesus emphasized that His sheep do and will hear His voice [spoken word]. (John 10:16) Of course, we are not speaking of hearing an audible voice but the “still, small voice.” God’s emphasis is not just our hearing but our responding with understanding and obedience by grace. This response brings His transformation into our lives. Learning to listen to God will forever change the way we relate to Him.
You are warmly invited and sincerely encouraged to attend this seminar that encourages hearing God’s voice and a deepening intimacy with God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Registration begins 30 minutes prior to beginning the first session. There is no cost for attending but an offering will be taken for the presenter. Please bring your Bible and pens with you. RSVP is encouraged due to limited seating and advanced printing of notes. For more information and to RSVP, please email Bill Jones at firstname.lastname@example.org.
