Sunday Morning Classes at The Ark

The Ark is excited to announce that Sunday Morning Classes are returning June 6 with Phase One. Phase One includes newborns through 24 months nursery, 2 year olds, 3 year olds (must be potty trained. If not, register in 2 year olds), 4 year olds, and rising TK/K (must be entering TK/K this fall). Registration is required. You will need to register each week. Be sure you are registering for the correct hour. Sunday Morning Classes will be offered during the 9:00 service and the 11:00 service. There will be a separate link for each hour. All pages and fields must be completed for your registration to be valid. Any registration not complete will be invalid. Once a class is full, no more registrations will be allowed for that class and registration will be closed. We are looking forward to seeing all the smiling faces and leading our children to know God’s word, grow in faith, and grow in God’s love.

For the first 2+ years of life, we focus on making a child’s and parent’s initial experience at church a positive and safe one!  We want children to learn of God’s love at the earliest opportunity.  We begin with lots of hugs and sharing of simple Bible stories.

Our nurseries are available at the 8:15, 9:30, 10:10, and 11:00 services.

Room Assignments

  • Babies & Crawlers, Birth – 12 Months old: Room 101
  • Toddlers, 12-24 months old: Room 102
  • 2 year olds: Room 106

Our nurseries are a very special place for our littlest ones, and we know how important it is for these children to make a connection with their caregivers. Therefore, we have paid caregivers in each of our nurseries as well as parent volunteers.   Our parent volunteers are a vital part of this ministry, and we depend upon your support.  To become a parent volunteer, visit our Volunteer page to learn more.  Serve just once every 5-6 weeks for one hour.

Early Childhood

For ages 2-5, our priority is for the young child to enjoy learning about God and His Bible!  By the time a child is five years old, he will have learned the basic stories of creation, the Old Testament, and the life of Christ.  Through a variety of Bible learning activities, children will learn the truths of God’s Word at their level of comprehension.

Our Sunday school classes are available at the following services 9:30 a.m., 10:10 a.m. (our classes begin at 9:30 for this service. Please arrive no later than 9:40 a.m.) and 11:00 a.m.

Room Assignments for 9:30 a.m & 10:10 a.m. services

  • 2 year olds: Room 106
  • 3 year olds: Room 201
  • 4 year olds: Room 204
  • Kindergarten: Room 207

Our goal for the elementary age child, grades 1-5, is both to have fun and to be spiritually challenged.   Children are encouraged to discover “what God says,” “what this means to me”, and “how can it be applied to my life.”  We strive for a well-rounded ministry of instruction, evangelism, discipleship, Bible memory, outreach events, missions, and special events.

Our Sunday school classes are available at the following services 9:30 a.m.,10:10 a.m. (our classes begin at 9:30 for this service. Please arrive no later than 9:40 a.m.) and 11:00 a.m.
