Weddington UMC Online Worship – Sunday, July 25, 2021
Outdoor Worship On Sundays during the COVID-19 pandemic, we will continue to have an informal in-person worship service outdoors at 9:00 a.m. on the lawn behind the Family Life Center. We invite you to bring your lawn chairs or blankets, umbrellas or E-Z Up tents and join us for live worship, at your comfort. We will follow all social distancing mandates. Outdoor worship is weather permitting. In the case of inclement weather, the 9:00 service will be moved inside the Family Life Center. Any updates will be posted by Saturday evening on our website, church app, and social media pages. Due to the inclement weather forecast predicting high temperatures and the chance of rain, the 9:00 a.m. Praise & Worship service will be held inside the Family Life Center on Sunday, August 1.
Indoor Worship Join us for our indoor worship service at 11:00 a.m. on the Weddington Campus. The 11:00 a.m. service is held inside the Weddington Campus Sanctuary. Registration is not required. In accordance with updated CDC guidelines, face masks are asked to be worn by those that are unvaccinated. We invite you to join us for this traditional service, at your comfort. We encourage you to continue to worship with us online if you have any concerns or hesitation of being physically together.
Online worship will continue to be offered for the foreseeable future each Sunday on our Vimeo page. The video can be accessed through our Weddington UMC Facebook Page, mobile app, and on our website. Please note that you do not need an account for any of these sites to access the video. Join us as we worship God with passion!
Monroe Campus Join us for bilingual worship each Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the Monroe Campus Sanctuary. To learn more, please contact Rev. Rocio Avila-Ramirez.
Worship Safe Zones Beginning on Sunday, August 1, we will be offering Safe Zones during the 9:00 service in the Family Life Center and at 11:00 service in the Sanctuary. These areas will be clearly marked and are for those who wish to wear protective face coverings or masks during worship and socially distance from others in a designated area.
