CHRISTMAS AT WEDDINGTON

Experience the warmth and wonder of the Christmas season
at Weddington Church!

Join us this Advent season as we worship, gather to fellowship, celebrate, and humbly serve in love. There is something for everyone!

Advent is a sacred time to prepare our hearts to once again receive the gift of the Christ Child. Whereas we decorate and prepare our homes for the celebration of Christmas, Advent is preparing our hearts and lives to receive this gift of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

There are four Sundays of Advent culminating on Christmas Eve when we celebrate Christmas, the Christ Mass, with holy communion. Each Sunday we will light one of the four Advent candles building anticipation and excitement for the lighting of the center candle, the Christ candle, at our Christmas Eve services. On Christmas Eve, we will light our individual candles from the Christ candle as we receive and then share this precious gift from God. All Christmas Eve services are candlelight with Holy Communion.
We invite you to join us as we prepare for and then celebrate this precious gift from God. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son (John 3:16). It is indeed, a holy season.
