Who We Are
Weddington Christian Preschool (WCP) is a weekday children’s ministry of Weddington Church, dedicated to nurturing young hearts and minds in a loving, faith-filled environment. We serve children ages 12 months through 5 years—including a Transitional Kindergarten program—at two convenient locations: our Weddington Campus on Providence Road and our Bonds Grove Campus in Waxhaw. WCP provides a safe, engaging, and Christ-centered foundation for early learning.
Our Approach
At WCP we are committed to helping even the youngest learners grow in the knowledge of God’s love. Our program is rooted in faith and guided by trusted educational resources including the Bible, Creative Curriculum, and Learning Without Tears. We strive to support the whole child; spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically, through hands-on learning in a warm and supportive environment.
Faith-Filled Learning
The biblical foundation of our program plants seeds of faith that can grow throughout a child’s life. Through joyful play and developmentally appropriate activities, children explore literacy, math, science, social studies, the arts, and technology while building confidence and a strong Christian foundation.
Our Goal
Our hope is to instill a love for learning from the very start—preparing children for academic success and nurturing them in a lifelong journey of faith. At WCP, we are honored to partner with families as children discover, grow, and experience God’s love each day.
