What will the worship service be like?
As you enter the Sanctuary or Family Life Center for the worship service, take a moment to greet one another and prepare your heart and mind with music and a time of reflection. The 8:15 and 11 a.m. services feature traditional worship with hymns, while the 9:30 and 10:10 services offer contemporary praise and worship. Click here for all our worship details.
How long are the worship services?
Our services usually last around one hour.
What should I wear to Weddington Church?
Feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable. You’ll see men in suits and ties, as well as in golf shirts and slacks. Women may be dressed in dresses and skirts or in something more casual.
Do I have to be a member of Weddington Church to take Communion?
Everyone is welcome at the communion table, regardless of whether they are members of Weddington Church. This invitation extends to both children and adults. Christ invites all who love Him, repent of their sins, and strive to live in peace with God and each other.
Where do my children go during the worship service?
Children are welcome to join their parents for worship, but our Children’s Ministry also offers engaging Sunday School and nursery experiences for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary students up to fifth grade. Click here for more information about our Children’s Ministry.
