international missions

Weddington Church is currently in ministry in Bulgaria, Costa Rica, and Kenya.

Support for international missions includes pastoral care, building churches, caring for and educating orphans, and so much more. Weddington Church seeks to make disciples of  Jesus Christ around the world.
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

Bulgaria

Bulgaria is the poorest country in the European Union and has been rebuilding the church community after Communism fell in 1989. Weddington supports the work of the Global Methodist Church in Bulgaria in the city of Botevgrad.

Costa Rica

Weddington Church partners with the Evangelical Methodist Church of Costa Rica. We work alongside of them to plant churches, to equip and empower youth, and to provide a safe place for children to grow. Each year the Costa Rican church invites us to send teams to build and join with them in their ongoing ministry efforts.

Kenya

In Kenya, through our partnership with God’s Grace for All Nations (GGFAN) we strive for transformation in the name of Jesus Christ., Transformation through discipleship is at the heart of all we do. We collaborate across cultures to plant churches where others cannot go, rescue and educate vulnerable children, and equip leaders through the Pastors’ School. Additionally, mercy ministries promote sustainable agriculture and empower women to lift families and communities.
More info about Kenya
Through God's Grace for All Nations (GGFAN) children who were once vulnerable are now in school, discipled, and thriving. Pastors who once served in isolation are now being equipped with strong theological foundations and practical leadership skills. Our long-term partnership with GGFAN has enabled Weddington Church to help protect vulnerable children, through the Home of the Good Shepherd and strengthen the local church for generations to come.
